Boxer Bryant Jennings to take on Joe Joyce July 13th

June 24, 2019

Professional boxer, world heavyweight title challenger, and one of the stars of The Game Changers, Bryant Jennings (24-3-0, 14KOs) is set to take on Joe Joyce on July 13th in London. The fight is predicted to be “Joyce’s toughest test to date”. No surprise there, given that Jennings has only ever lost three time in his professional career of 27 fights: to Luis Ortiz, Wladimir Klitschko and Oscar Rivas. In fact, Jennings is well known for giving “Klitschko a tough night”, losing on points when he challenged him for his world titles at Madison Square Garden in 2015.

Jennings’ promoter Bob Arum said: “People will see how dangerous Bryant Jennings really is.”

Fans of The Game Changers got to experience some of his explosive power up close, as well as his insights about fuelling up on plant-based food.

Jennings is training hard for the fight, saying:

“I don’t mind the test. I don’t mind the challenge. That’s just who I am. I am the only one who can beat myself. Nobody can beat me. When I’ve lost, it’s been because of me, not my opponent.”

If Jennings wins, it could put him this plant-based powerhouse on track to fight Tyson Fury at a shot for the heavyweight championship.

On behalf of the whole GC family – we want to say: you got this, Bryant!
